People join Darkwatch for many reasons: Glory, escape, revenge. I joined them because they had a nice ad in the newspaper. They promised adventure beyond the Wall, the glory of hunting creatures of legend. What the ad didn't say was that I was going to make mistakes and people were going to get hurt. It also failed to mention that you either become part of the Wild, or you die.
