Author has written 2 stories for Supernatural, and Sci-Fi.

Sorry. I love Portuguese and Russian, and I will leap at any excuse to use them. I'm an American writer who loves to study foreign languages. I speak fluent Portuguese, and my Russian is probably at the level of a 3-year-old. I intend to study Old English, French, and German, and I hope to get into grad school and work my way to a Ph.D. I am an English major in a little university in the Northern USA. This detail is important because, owing to the cold cold cold, I am often given to surfing the web. I thought I'd put it to good use and actually try to get some readership online, as well as encourage other aspiring writers who, like myself, have yet to get their break. I work as an editor for my university's online curriculum department, so I have lots of experience with editing (given my thus-far short career). I love to review others' writing, but only when I can do so in-depth.

I write mostly fantasy, speculative fiction, and whatever else suits my fancy when I start typing. I'm of the firm belief that fantasy has the potential to be a great literary genre, despite the beliefs of most MFA and Ph.D. folks I run into. I fear, however, that fantasy has run into something of a dark age, and is in need of a renaissance, a return to true Faerie as opposed to mere dungeon crawling, dragon-slaying, sword and sorcery, etc.

Anyway. I write! I review! Please do the same.
