 Author has written 1 story for Life. Wow, re-writing my profile (AGAIN) because it was old and gross looking haha! My name is Akemi, I'm 18 yrs old, and it's a pleasure to meet you all! I am a Freshman in university studying Comparative Cultures w/ an emphasis on Japan and a minor in Film Production! I am also in Honors focusing on Creative Writing courses. My favorite color is Blue. My favorite animals are the Butterfly and Orca. Apart from Film and Japanese my interests have always laid in books and the worlds they show me, and since 7th grade I have loved manga and anime! STORIES: In-Progress: "You Make Me Deaf" Has been put on hold until I have revised it and more. I realized there were a lot of things that still needed developing! Sorry to anyone who started reading them on here. 'Tiger's Story' (temp title) is in its second to final stages of planning! I have a handful more characters to go over and finalize before I start fleshing out the story more. Right now I have the four main characters complete and all the main points in the story. I am hoping to start the first draft by the end of this summer! Complete: "Hello (A story in Co-Opted Form)" This is a piece that I wrote for my creative writing class. Co-opted form is when the writer tells the story in the format of a form taken from everyday life, such as a cooking recipe, tv guide, or an obituary. Hello is in the form of a dictionary entry!
