Lavender Quetzal is an enigmatic figure shrouded in mystery and puzzles. She was born in one part of the world, lived most of her life in another, and recently moved closer to her birthplace. She has flown on the back of a large purple dragon, been frozen by a less-than-courteous nit, sung a duet with a mockingjay, accidentally spilled grape juice on an Invisibility Cloak, fallen in love with an evil toothpick, been healed by a magic golden flower, successfully piloted a TARDIS, consorted with displacers, captured a fairy, bargained with a djinn, tasted white fudge, climbed the Cliffs of Insanity, put a curse upon a Catholic private school, considered becoming a Huntress of Artemis, argued with a Dalek, and survived an encounter with invisible ninjas. In addition to her FictionPress stories/poems, Lavender also has written several fanfiction stories, which can be accessed from her FanFiction profile: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/3608159/. Her parents, friends, siblings, and peers have yet to see her at her finest.

Christmas Ornament
-It knew her tears. It knew she knew it was too early. It knew the eve was miles away. And so it fell, and so it died, with little more than a gasp.- A girl breaks an ornament while trimming the tree and uses it as a metaphor for the crazy, mixed-up life she's been having since her father lost his job and moved the whole family across the country.

Confessions of a Sidekick reviews
Brianna Prestwell is nothing special. Completely normal, completely the same as any other kid her age. You know, except for her abnormally witty sarcasm and the fact that she's the sidekick of her town's superhot superhero.

A Trio of Scranimals
Based on Jack Prelutsky's book, here are three "Scranimal" poems that I wrote. For those who don't know, a Scranimal is an animal scrambled with another object/animal.

Sally Smith
A nice, neat little girl ignores her doctor's preposterous-sounding warning and suffers the consequences...a transformatoin into a primate. A silly little poem I wrote in 5th grade.

The Rose and the Harp
Roselle is a poor but beautiful young girl with a debt to pay. Dalinn is an ageless minstrel with a curse to break. When you get beans and a beast involved, well, no good can come from that...can it? Story better than summary! Please review!

Those Annoying Forces of Magic
I didn't even want to stay with Aunt Kay in the first place. She's freaky. And I really could have passed on the ruthless evil sorcerer trying to kill me. But I suppose the phenomenal cosmic powers are a big upside to the situation.
