I was recently told I was a 'coward' and 'flamer' because I constructively criticized a story. Well, I find that somewhat insulting, because I am not, indeed, a flamer. I have no qualms with her ideas--but I stand by what I said, delivery could have been quite a lot better. I did not personally insult anyone. I have no personal grudges. I simply feel that these stories need a lot of help, which I was ready to deliver. And I apologize for any inconvenience.
While I disapprove of real flamers and trolls, I feel that Fictionpress and Fanfiction have both developed nasty opinions on con crit deliverers based on the select few who flame. I strive to change that.
I am the deliverer of truth.
"Even in the depths of night, when no other bird dares to take flight, one alone soars to shine the light of righteousness on the world's blight! And that one is me! For I am the Great Thief, Yatagarasu!"
-Kay Faraday, the Second Yatagarasu; The Stolen Turnabout, AAI-
What's in a name?
I'm on Fanfiction--you know me as Iris Cornelia Jade. She's a soft one, quiet and deadly calm. She knows too much. She's too dark, because that's her muse. Her good-to-honest self. The real girl under all the other facades, the 320 poisons hidden in the center of the lilies.
Me? I'm different. I'm the ardent green that steals the truth and leaves no trace behind. I rule the ice cold area where information is power and power is protected. I storm the skies on butterfly wings and mock the raven with three legs.
I am her opposite. I am Corina Verdant.
I know a bird by the name of the Yatagarasu. They hide in the shadows and can steal your life from right under your nose before making you eat out of the centers of their claws.
And lastly? If you see me here, know that, no matter how deep you dig, you will never, ever know all of me.
