What I don't understand is why, at the top, it says 'biography.' Because a bio is a story of your life, right? And no one does that. And even if people did write it (though why they would, on the internet, is beyond my comprehension) it would be an autobiography, not a biography. But hey, what do I know? Maybe it's some kinda... technical term. Or something. And yes, I realise it doesn't say bio on the laptop but if you're on your phone (the thing I use mainly so surf fictionpress) then it does say bio. And biography at the top. But you probably knew that, so...uh...yeah.

Some people say why they chose their pen name, and my current one (Shadowing) is because I wanted Shadow, but that was taken, so I chose Shadowing. And Shadowing sounds cool, anyway. And, uh, if you like my writing or you're bored or whatever I'm under Shadowing on Fanfiction, as well. I have some work up, all currently in Alex Rider fandom, so it'd be appreciated if you check them out.

I go into short phases where I'm obsessed with stuff. There's the activities, like cycling, fencing. Then there's the stuff I decide I wanna be when I'm older; writer, doctor, astronaut. Most recent is wanting to join the army. Don't ask. Only things that I've ever stuck with is reading and writing, because they're just... amazing. I love books. It runs in the family; we come home from work, school, and sit around for a few hours reading. Every weekend we visit the library and come away with these massive bags of books which the librarian is always complaining about but she can't do much coz we use our cousin's library cards to get out all the books. Suck on that, you hag.

My beliefs- religion- are kinda confused right now. I don't believe in god, but even if I don't think it's true I can't live with believing that there's nothing after we die. It might be cowardly, not facing up to the truth or whatever but it really scares me; that thought that after you die, there's nothing. You just go. Your soul, spirit, the thing that makes you you; is gone. And that's what I don't know; where does it go? What happens?

I hate insomnia.

Completely failing at all things to do with cooking and baking... namely, the kitchen. Right now pancake mix is waiting on the counter, full of lumps and... salt. It wasn't my fault! I didn't know that bowl was for salt, but it was white and the right consistency so I just put it in and hoped for the best. And the recipe didn't say sugar, but I don't like pancakes without sugar, so I just put it in. I'm sure they'll turn out to be perfect... savory... extremely salty... pancakes.
I have probably made the worst pancakes in the history of pancakes on pancake day.
