To all readers and visitors,

I haven't posted up anything on my profile for a while and I apologize for any inconvenience if you wanted to know something about me. Since I started law school in the fall of 2013, I took down my older stories and deleted my profile since I knew I was not going to be on here consistently. My first year was rough and emotional, but I managed to make it through and passed all my exams, so I am currently a 2L/second year law student. A lot has happened and I have been inspired to write intense stories of what I had witnessed and/or experienced from 2013 until now.

I appreciate all of you reading my stories and providing reviews. I encourage you to provide any feedback and I will continue to update "The MC Life" since there is a lot to tell from a very dark and personal perspective. I have not written a romance/erotica story in a long time, so I am still getting used to those old roots again. Because of my busy schedule this month, I will try my best to continue updating "The MC Life." Hopefully, I will be done by the end of this year.

As of now I am studying/taking midterms. But at the end of this week, please look out for a chapter update. Thanks!

Update: 2/3/15

To readers,

I apologize for the notoriously long delay. Since I started school after New Years, I've been very busy with the workload. Also, I'm in the process of self-publishing a novel that will be released in April of 2015. To make up for the lost time, I decided that I will upload a chapter this week ASAP. Also, I will provide another "chapter update" with a link to my new book titled, "One Homecoming," a NA/Adult psychological thriller. Yes, it's a departure from the romance genre, but I have better writing abilities in other genres than romance. I enlisted the help from NYT and USA Today Bestseller Gail McHugh who encouraged me to self-publish and well-known cover designer Regina Wamba (Mae I Design) to work on the cover of my debut book. So, hopefully I'll provide more links if you want to follow me and my work.

Thanks for your patience!

UPDATE: 2/18/15

To readers,

I have an importance announcement. I've been doing a lot of thinking and note-taking on this issue and I finally came to a conclusion that leaves me sad: I will be taking down my story "The M.C. Life" for one good reason. I am currently in the process of publishing my debut book in April as I stated before. I have an author page up and running at this time on Facebook: Author-M.M. Charles (please find me and like my page to hear a number of updates on my road to publication). Also, I have trouble writing a good romance novel sometimes and even I can't stand half of what I write and the only way I can better it is by revamping the entire thing over and over and over again. Because I am in the process of writing a third book (I finished a second book and it has been sent off to the editors), I realized the best way to make it as good as I can, I will need to incorporate themes and elements from "The M.C. Life." Then I realized one thing: I have to take it down and revamp it with new and old characters and improve on certain themes to amp it up.

So I apologize if you had enjoyed it and followed my story, but I think it's for the best. If you want to follow me at any time, please go on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/AuthorMMCharles?ref=hl) and find me!

Thanks so much and see you on the publishing side!
