First, I have to thank you for viewing my profile. I have always been thankful to those that take an interest in my writing. I thrive on reviews and constructive criticism. As an English major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I take my writing very seriously. It is my dream to one day write a novel, perhaps even many novels! I recently have taken a great interest in poetry, as I feel that most short stories and books don't express imagery the way that poetry does. I hope to intertwine poetry and fiction writing into a combined style of writing, pleasant to the eyes and minds of my readers. Now for some of my favorite things, so that you may get to know me better!

Books: Entangled by Graham Hancock, East of Eden by John Steinbeck, A Separate Peace by John Knowles, Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, and biographies of interesting people throughout history-- I am always open to new genres and authors, but I am very picky about my favorites!

Movies: This category really depends on the mood I'm in when I watch the movie. Dangerous Beauty, Tristan and Isolde, Into the Wild, Final Fantasy: Advent Children, Buffalo '66, Blue Valentine, Memoirs of a Geisha, and so many more. I am a major cinephile!

TV shows: Lost, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, The Tudors, American Horror Story

Video Games: I am a huge fan of video games! Even though I may not be the best player, I am a sucker for complex characters and a good story line! Final Fantasy xii, Final Fantasy xiii, Final Fantasy x, Final Fantasy xiii, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Primal, Beyond Good and Evil, Ico

Bands and Singers: I love almost all music, so this is a hard category to put on here, but these are the bands and singers I wouldn't mind seeing in person--some I even have seen in person! And of course, unfortunately, with the case of some of them (Nirvana) the band is either deceased or no longer together. 30 Seconds to Mars, Bob Dylan, Natalie Merchant, The Decemberists, Flyleaf, Evanescence, Nirvana, Zee Avi, and many more that I just can't think of!

Hobbies and Interests: Martial Arts, Hiking, Rock Climbing, Bike Riding, Yoga, Playing Video Games, Watching Movies, Meeting New People!

Last but not least, I have to say that I am very happy to have stumbled upon fictionpress. It is refreshing to meet people who share my love and interest in writing. I enjoy meeting new people, so feel free to leave me a PM!
