Author has written 2 stories for Romance.

Hi ! :)

Please, call me Maria. :)

I'm living in the Philippines. I’m proudly Filipina with of my blood being Chinese. I am a girl—don’t tell my family, but the computer says I’m actually a cookie—and regularly attending my High School during the months of June until March.

I decided to make this account because I love to read, and that encouraged me to write. But I write stories for my own pleasure and happiness, so I cannot promise any specific time or date for updating my work, if ever there are any kind-hearted people out there who are willing to read the results of my wild imaginations that are mostly about romance.

I actually like to write many stories at the same time—I just can’t help being inspired—even if I know it is beyond my capacity as a cookie—er, human. :) I tried writing seven different stories all at once in the month of August and that resulted in a heavy case of stress, laziness and writer’s block. (I do get those things often, and they’re another reason for late updates.) After that, I promised to take it slow and write passionately about something as much as I can.

Julia Quinn is one of my favorite writers. Her books are one of the things that inspire me and leave me searching for more. (I went through three National Bookstores, three book sales, two Fully Booked branches and one branch of Power Books to find the complete collection of The Bridgertons series. I have three out of eight. Ugh, I’m so ashamed.) However, my wallet takes it very badly most of the time and winds up empty. :( Another is Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. This book has impacted much on me and made me fall head-over-heels for the sparkling vampire and six-packed shapeshifter. =))) And, of course, Nicholas Sparks had left me in tears with his work. Enough said. :)

I take criticism fairly, whether it’s good or bad, knowing it would just improve my work so I can publish it in its best quality. I am just an amateur writer, need I remind that most of us here are amateurs as well, so I’m not sure how to go along with this whole thing. I appreciate each and every one of the people who are willing to review and support me through this. :D

One last thing though. I don’t really have a defined “writing style.” If I do, I don’t know what the hell it’s called. So please, do bear with me on this.

Other than that, feel free to be a potato with me. :) Or you can be an ostrich. I don’t mind.

Lots of love, Lost Girl Isabella.

If I die young, bury me in satin. Lay me down on a bed of roses. Sink me in the river at dawn. Send me away with the words of a love song.” –The Band Perry.

My Best Friend reviews
He was my closest friend, the brother I've always wanted; nothing's ever been awkward between us. But the situation we were in now was definitely the first. I didn't want to pull away, though, and neither did he. It felt new, but it was perfect.

They said he was a criminal, that he hurt people. I couldn't believe that. I refused to. He wasn't bad. All he ever hurt was himself, no one else. He was vulnerable and weak. As he lay there, with eyes closed, I realized something. I was falling in love.
