![]() Author has written 1 story for Horror. As a writer: I won't cut myself down as a writer trying to lower anyone's expectations but I would like to remind them that anyone can post stories on this site and we are not all professionals. That being said, tell me if I can improve on anything. Constructive critisism is deeply appreciated. Thank you. As a reader: I fawn over all sorts of stuff, and many times I'll repeat myself because there are only so many ways to tell a person they are an awesome writer. Not to say that I give out 'super amazing's and 'freak'in fantastic's out to just anyone, but I'm no 'American Idol Simon' either. Words I like: "Fellow students. Over the past week there's been a lot of confusion, and so we've asked for this assembly to clarify the difference between goth kids and vampire kids. Let us make it abundantly clear: if you hate life, truly hate the sun and need to smoke and drink coffee, you are goth. If, however, you like dressing in black 'cause it's fun, enjoy putting sparkles on your cheeks and following the occult while avoiding things that are bad for your health, then you're most likely a douchebag vampire-wannabe boner. Because anybody who thinks they are actually a vampire is freaking retarded." South Park Goth Kid "Blood is really warm. It's a lot like hot chocolate. But with more screaming." Zombie Haiku "Remember guys, he may look like an idiot and talk like an idiot, but don't let that fool you, he really is an idiot." Joker, Arkham Asylum "A genius, huh? What does that mean? "Genius"? So I was not born with a whole lot of natural talent, not gifted like Nejiā¦ but I work hard and I never give up!" Rock Lee, Naruto "By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't even want to know the ending, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was after so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, that shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, and meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folks in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding onto something...There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth fighting for." Sam, Lord of the Rings |
