hey! my name's meg, i am nineteen years old and i live in pennsylvania, though i attend hollins university in roanoke, virginia. iheart hollins. besides writing, i absolutely love to read and listen to music; i am also particularly fond of singing. some of my favorite artists are: josh groban, enya, billy joel, celine dion, and the goo goo dolls.

i'm an easy person to get along with; i'm very easy to please. just don't try to make me do something i don't want to do/be someone that i'm not. i don't play those games, i like what i like and i am who i am. that's it, nothing further.

my short stories are, erm, short. they are the pieces of fiction on here that are more political and opinionated than anything else on here. my only non-short story is psionics, which i will talk about ...

here. psionics is a story which stemmed from a character idea i've had floating around my mind for quite some time. i have an obsession for writing about ordinary people coming into rather extraordinary powers. call it unhealthy if you wish, but it satiates my imagination's hunger. while i first started it to keep me writing during times when my conscience refuses to let me (i.e. when i have school or work) because it feels i should be doing something else (like something productive), it has now evolved into something entirely its own. the beginning, and god knows for sure that i know this, is extremely shaky probably pathetic, because i hadn't any idea as to where i was going to take the story. now, i have a general direction in which to take this, a probable conclusion and a sketchy outline. when i have completed the story in full, i shall go back and edit what doesn't seem to fit anymore. i have become more serious about this tale and it has been fulfilling to me not only as a writer but as a reader, too. it's great fun. i'm not looking to win any literary prizes here, it's basically just for fun. so, please, if you get the chance, do read and review! i have copious amounts of notes on what i'm going to fix and re-do in the re-write when i've finished this as a first draft. but i am eager to see what other readers thing and what their suggestions are. thanks in advance for taking the time to read and review!

dear god, i am a boring person.

i know that none of this is in capital letters ... hehe, i love that. xD toodliedoos! ^^;

by the way, feel free to e-mail me or im me; i very seriously have no life when i'm online.

laughter and love,
~ meg
