Author has written 1 story for Fantasy.
I graduated High school with a passion to work on my writing to achieve my dream of becoming a writer. Please enjoy my stories and tell me what you think, I need any feedback you guys can muster to know where I can improve my skill.
Step One: Ideas
I would be sitting at the computer or on the couch, sometimes on my bed drawing when and idea pops into my head out of the blue, the usual thing that happens. But for me It would be from just staring at something ex. A weapon in Skyrim or my ceiling...
Step Two: Thinking and occasional research
I would spend from about 30 minutes to a few days thinking on the idea, depending on what spurred my creativity/inspiration. If it is on something I collab with I will talk about it to the person included in the collab. If it is on something I am currently into (Skyrim, WoW, ect.) I will look up the lore of the object I saw or I would think on it to try and develop it into a story target.
Step Three: Planning
I will take my handy dandy spiral notebook and write down plot points with notes on how I will drag out that scene. Depending on how long I took to think on it, It could take up to about 3 pages. Sometimes when I would be planning Void Seer I will take my sticky notes and write down plot points as fillers since I would already have the base points of the chapter figured out.
Step Four: Rough Draft
I will write a 2-3 page rough draft with the plot points I had written out in my handy dandy spiral notebook, sometimes rearranging the plot points or adding new ones that got stirred up as I write the draft. Sometimes I would go straight to the word document and write the story out, this is usually on my current Collab, Sedsha: *insert corresponding title here*
Step Five: Final Draft
After reading the rough draft a few times and thinking on how to bring it out on the word document, I will begin typing, occasionally sharing a finished scene, for the instance of it being a Sedsha I will share it with my friend to get her thoughts on it, and changes if I don't meet the right attitude or personality of her character.
Step Six: Proof Read
I will read through the typed up story and make any edits to part that don't make since or seem incomplete. I will also make sure that I got all my plot points written out into the piece to make it more complete (sometimes my plot points will only fit in the current piece I would be working on)
Step Seven: Submitting
Once I am done I will save the document and submit it here on Fiction Press and DeviantART (or FanfFiction if it is fan-fiction) And after submitting I will read through it again, making sure I got all the mistakes out, occasionally I will find some, but they are an easy fix. And sometimes while I read through, another idea will pop up and I will write another piece, going through the entire process again.
