Name: Aria

Languages:

Fluent: English & French
Languages I want to Learn: Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and Tagalog.

Fun Facts:

I've graduated high school with Magna Cum Laude. I'm still alive. I write every day in my little notebooks. I live on a farm now. I'm not good at writing poetry, but I love reading it. I'm going to college. I want to travel all over the world. I am a feminist. I won't tolerate racism or LGBTphobia of any kind. I live to read. I want to love all the edges off of people. Hippos or goats or cats are my favorite animal. I believe in the power of voting and having an opinion.

Favorite Quotes:

"You either die a hero or live long enough to watch yourself become the villain." - Harvey Dent
"You have to be odd to be number one." - Dr. Seuss
"It is often easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission." - Grace Hopper
"Whether or not you write well, write bravely." - Bill Stout
"Learning never exhausts the mind." - Leonardo da Vinci
"If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door." - Milton Berle
"The only true wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing." - Socrates

Favorite Works:

Oedipus Rex - What a horrifying little tragedy.
Antigone - What a treasure.
MacBeth - I hated reading this play, but it's everywhere, which makes it wonderful.
Animal Farm - I'm a weirdo, I loved reading this book.
Scarlet Letter - I'm a weirdo, I loved reading this book.
Pride and Prejudice - I read most of this curled up and drinking tea. It is breathtaking.
I'll Give You the Sun - What a hurricane of a novel.
The Improbable Theory of Ana and Zac - I understood every reference and it made my inner nerd very satisfied.
Ida B and Her Plans to Maximize Fun, Avoid Disaster, and (Possibly) Save the World - Childhood favorite.
Dragon Slippers - Childhood favorite. Everything that Jessica Day George has written I've read and loved.

Story Status:

I am writing more and more series. It has occurred to me, however, that if I plan to publish any of these works, I can't publish them online. Hm. So, I'm posting more things just to make sure that I have works out there, but since I'm serious about wanting to publish my works, I'll be keeping my big hitter stories more private. Not saying I won't post side series and related work, lol, because you bet your ass I'll be doing that. But. I have some serious work that I'm focusing on right now and I'm excited about the future with them! I think they're really promising pieces of fiction. So, world, you better watch yourself!

I will update Essays for the rest of my life, probably. Or at least for the next 4 or 5 years, because I'm going to college. Same goes with The Power of French Class because guess who's probably going to minor in French? C'est vrai! C'est moi! And if not, I'll still work with French and travel to France and such to keep it fresh and to keep the learning going.

You can expect some more Notebook Works because I'm trying to preserve my work!

Personal Life Status:

I have a job. I'm going to college. I own a home. I pay taxes and have bills! I'm becoming financially independent. Just a young adult, doing young adult things. I'd suggest following me on Instagram. It's a good way to keep up with me. I'm currently focusing on school, but I'll try to post more consistently as time goes on.

I have a super RAD Instagram if you're interested. It's @Aria.Creates. It currently has some super noice content. My vision for it is to be an aesthetic writing page. So. We'll see how that goes. Instagram is pretty much where I'm at rn in life. Less talking, more seeing. Sorry loves. While I still have you, check out this Fanfiction.net account too? It's mine. As well as this other Fanfiction account?
