Author has written 21 stories for General, War, Supernatural, Life, and Fantasy.

My name is Sharlotte Caine - Last name is not Caine that is a pseudonym that I like. I love to write. I currently am a quarter of the way through writing three books which one day I will hopefully finish. I'm a pedant and not afraid to admit it. I hate incorrect grammer and spelling and try and make my stories/poems as grammatically and orthographically precise as possible. I love long, strange and forgotten words (e.g. pseudonym, orthographically) and will use archaic words in any story set in an archaic time. I have a fanfiction account under the same username so please take a look at that. Beta Reader. I hate it when people say they are rubbish at summaries; if you can write a story you can write a summary. You must have had a basis to start with. If you write for your summary - 'I'm terrible at summaries, just read.' or something like that I won't read it.

Underneath are some of my favourite 'Inspirational and Motivating Quotes' - with full credit to the orators.

Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were all meant to shine, as children do.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

- Anonymous

“I am grateful for all of my problems. After each one was overcome, I became stronger and more able to meet those that were still to come. I grew in all my difficulties.”

- James Cash Penney

“Don’t let life discourage you; everyone who got where he is had to begin where he was.”

- Richard L. Evans

“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.”

- Dale Carnegie

“Nothing great has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe that something inside them was superior to circumstances.”

- Bruce Barton

“Most people would rather be certain they’re miserable, than risk being happy.”

- Robert Anthony

“The real person you are is revealed in the moments when you’re certain no other person is watching. When no one is watching, you are driven by what you expect of yourself.”

- Ralph S. Marston, Jr.

“I realized early on that success was tied to not giving up. Most people in this business gave up and went on to other things. If you simply didn’t give up, you would outlast the people who came in on the bus with you.”

- Harrison Ford

“We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.”

- Jesse Owens

“To avoid criticism do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.”

“Too many people are thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, when they ought to just water the grass they are standing on.”

- Amar Dave

“The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you choose, what you think and what you do is who you become.”

- Heraclitus

“Losers live in the past. Winners learn from the past and enjoy working in the present toward the future.”

- Denis Waitley

Rant About Reviews

I find it rude if someone reads a poem/story and likes it and doesn't review. If you like the story it'sonly polite to take the small amount of time it takes to write a review to give the writer some feedback. Even if you don't like it, at least let the writer know why so they can correct things - if they want to. I iwll always review a story I like and will sometimes give constructive criticism where needed. I think it only poilte to do the same. Also if you review one of my pieces of work I will certainly review yours. I also think long reviews are better than short ones as they really show your enthusiam for the story and that you have actually been bothered to put a little more effort than needed to praise (or decry) said story. Review are like food - use writers need them to carry on. If I don't get reviews I won't continue the story. I do check the amount of hits but that does not show whether they have actually read the whole chapter of just the first line. I find it disheartening to know that out of 534 people: 362 read the first chapter, 110 read the second chapter and 62 read the third chapter and guess what only five people, FIVE OUT OF 534 reviewed. Two on chapters one and two and one on chapter 3. I often find people only read the first chapter and review that then stop reading. Why? As stated in my aforesaid tirade, if you like or don;t at least have the comity to review.
