Hello, my name is BriRy and I am entering my senior year in college. I am not earning a degree in writing or anything, but it is something that I enjoy doing on the side. I have enjoyed casually writing since I was in elementary school, when we would have to write short stories in English class.
So, what's new with me? Well, on Saturday (5/10/08) I will officially be a college graduate, earning my Bachelor's Degree, which is exciting, but now I have to finally find a real job to pay the bills. It's hard to believe that it's been almost a year since I finished writing "The Lone Wolves" as well. Thanks to all who have written reviews for it. For it's sequel, "The Recruitment", I feel that I jumped into it way too quickly and that's why I've had to restart it twice and I'm probably not going to be finishing it...on this website at least. I am seriously going to try and get "The Lone Wolves" published. I know that in it's current state, it wouldn't get two looks from editors or publishers. But, I am going to rewrite it and I've got tons of ideas on how to improve it. If it does get published, it will likely look nothing like the version that you see here, as I'm viewing this as a rough draft, which it is. A lot of that stuff in there was written right off the top of my head, which is why there are inconsistencies, plot holes, and the like throughout. The characters are not nearly fleshed out enough and there is not enough tension on every "page". I did it mainly for fun, but I've had this passion flowing inside of me to get serious about it and try my best to write a version that would be worty of being published. This has been a story that has been inside of me since I was 18. So, look out for "The Lone Wolves" in bookstores in a 2, 3, 4, 5 (you get the idea) years!
Also, if you read my stories, I really appreciate reviews. I'll still update, so if you are reading it and don't want to review until the end, that's fine. I'm not going to quit updating because of a lack of reviews. I just want you to enjoy and if you have something to comment on, great. If not, just enjoy the story!
