MsKelari is the former writer, Editor-in-chief and Publicist for Florida-based magazine publisher. For two years, she was responsible for the editorial direction, quality, and presentation of the magazine and its sister publication. Her supervision helped the magazine continue its growth as the nation’s largest teen publication in its niche, with nearly one million high school readers. As editor-in-chief, MsKelari was active in corporate editorial issues helping to identify new editorial needs in the marketplace and shaped the editorial positioning of the publisher’s titles.

Among her accomplishments were the redesign of the magazine’s editorial format; an added emphasis on editorial that teens actually read and utilize along with the introduction of standards and editorial guidelines that ensured the magazine’s continued success. While keeping the magazine focused on its goal of becoming the number one source of niche information for teens, MsKelari championed the addition of new editorial as well as ongoing reviews of related products and services.

As publicist, MsKelari raised the visibility of the magazine on local, regional, and national levels. With aggressive pitching, fact sheets and human interest tales, she has placed a number of stories for the magazine and publisher. Of special interest are the stories MsKelari has placed for the cover models. Some media outlets that have covered her stories for online and print publication include the New York Post, Connecticut Post, Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, People and Reuters.

MsKelari got her start in public relations after several clients were impressed with the public relations and visibility that she was able to generate for herself, her own company, and those organizations that she is affiliated with. She has been interviewed on Cablevision Channel 71 and 20 and profiled or quoted in the New York Times, Newsday, the Long Island Business News, Networking Magazine, NYIT Magazine, Molloy College Magazine, Rolling Out Magazine and The Network Journal.
