Author has written 1 story for Romance.

Happy almost 2014!!! Just wanted to let whomever might see this know that I will try to post a few more chapters sooner than later. As I have stated before, I am a slacker.

Sorry, I am still SO incredibly slack. I just tried to make it up to everyone by posting a few chapters all at once. PLEASE, (yes, I'm begging), throw some reviews at me????

I had a pretty uneventful summer, (mostly working). Didn't make it back home to visit this year, but planning on next year maybe. Just got home yesterday after spending the weekend in Florida and thoroughly enjoying the Gentlemen of the Road Stopover in St Augustine. Man, it was hot but seeing a few of my favorite bands was totally worth it. Sorry, I didn't stay to watch Mumford & Sons finish their set. However, I DID get to enjoy the Walkmen and the Vaccines and they were my reason for going. -I'm not much of a Mumford fan, but they are really great at what they do, just not my music genre of choice.

Because I am an official, card-carrying member of the slacker generation, I have been creating a Pinterest board for the book to try and share the images I saw in my head when I wrote this story instead of editing, (These images are as close as I could find and no, my characters are not the 'magic mike' types. They are art school students and not athletes so sorry if I ruined it for some). Anyway if you are curious, please check it out and follow me at: (Margeé Raquel) on Pinterest. If you want to email me outside of FP my address is:

I will do my best to get off of my day-dreaming ass and post some chapters as soon as my brain will let me. In the mean time, anyone going to any cool concerts this summer? I actually scored tix to the Gentlemen of the Road fest... VACCINES!!!!! can't wait ;-)

5/5/13: Hey, I don't want to beg, but I am currently posting 'edited' chapters to the Spiralcase.

PLEASE. PLEASE, PLEASE let me know if you see any typos, grammar errors, story inconsistencies etc.

Also, I would very much like to know how much OR how little you like the story. I am considering taking the next step to possibly trying to publish (I have corresponded with a few publishers already -nothing concrete on my end), and I need some feedback on whether or not I should bother.

I plan to keep posting, I just need to know if this is good enough.

-thanks lovelies ;-)

3/7/13: Hola! As some followers may have noticed, I decided to scrap it all and start over. I apologize for any irritation/inconvenience my actions caused. Hope you like the edits :-)

I grew up in the Midwest, but moved to the East Coast after graduating from college years ago. I am married to a part-time musician, but also have many friends and acquaintances that are full time professional music folk, (you may have heard of a couple of them). I'm a sucker for a great live show and cannot stand not hearing music all of the time. I love to write and get lost in thought. Please let me know what you think of my first full-length novel attempt. This story has been in the back of my mind brewing for many years. Thanks :-)

(I starting writing the Winding Spiralcase in the Spring of 2009 and now multiple revisions later, I am ready to share my work. I welcome any input and hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed creating it. This is an extremely long novel so I am considering breaking it up into two or possibly three separate books. Please share your thoughts/ideas -Thank you.)

I love you all! Feel free to message me anytime, I LOVE hearing from everyone.

peace & love,

Mag :-)

If you happen to be in the Omaha, NE area, some of my friends just bought a cool little dive bar there and they have great live music from all over, (last time I visited a band from Austin, TX played). Anyway, its call O'Leavers -so go there if you're in the neighborhood.
