Author has written 15 stories for Young Adult, Life, and General.
I started off as a college student studying psychology and sociology, but due to life, I have had to return home. Writing is one of my biggest passions, not far ahead of music. Both have been talents in my life since an early age. As far as writing goes, I started writing stories when I was nine. It may be true that they had many errors and were often choppy, but I had a gift with coming up with effective ideas that could have a story rooted. From my toddler years, I had a huge imagination. And it has only developed at a huge rate, according to family and friends. Starting in sixth grade, I started writing poetry. In seventh grade, I decided I wanted to write a book. That same book is in the works. I have gone back and edited the entire thing, and I am in the process of adding content to make the story more developed. I have several books in the making. I hope to finish them all someday.
I have certain elements that I typically include in my stories and poetry, and many are interrelated. My writing tends to be very dark. Most of my work includes some reference to abuse, suicide, self harm, drugs, illegal actions, or other grim subjects. And most of my stories include children as major characters at some point. I write about these things because I believe it is both relatable and eye-opening. It also has to do with personal experiences of both me and people I know.
I am a published writer of three poems. One from when I was nine (my very first) in my grandparents' city newspaper, and two in my high school's academic magazine.
I don't plan on ever stopping. I feel like each story I start needs to be told, and I won't stop until I run out of stories. that's the thing about writing, though. There's always someone else's story to tell. Being a writer is complicated and frustrating, but worth every moment.
