Name: You can call me Bren
Age: Your average 18-year-old who's anxious for the end of her senior year.
Location: AMERICA! And proud.
Occupations: Well, I use to work at a Dairy Queen, but I got out of there. Now my time includes writing (when I get motivated) reading lots of FanFiction, Tumblring and listening to music.
TV Shows: Supernatural, Hannibal, The Walking Dead, Teen Wolf, New Girl and Rookie Blue. And okay, okay, I may tune into General Hospital from time-to-time. As far as reality television, I love The Profit on CNBC.
Movies: I'll narrow it down: The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, How to Train Your Dragon, Rise of the Guardians, Star Trek Into Darkness, Frozen, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and The Prestige.
Books: If I were to name all my favorite books then we'd be here all day. So, I'll name my top favorites. The Benny Imura series by Jonathan Maberry (four books: Rot & Ruin, Dust & Decay, Flesh & Bone, and Fire & Ash), the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness (The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and The Answer, and Monsters of Men), The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins (I think we all know), Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge, and Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson. I love those books with a passion. I mostly read any genre of YA, though my favorite are post-apocalyptic or general survival. I like the nitty gritty life or death scenarios. I enjoy memoirs and autobiographies as well.
Music: Besides my utter love for musical composers such as Hans Zimmer, Alexandre Despalt, and John Powell (just to name a few), I love Mumford & Sons, Birdy, Florence The Machine, Andrew Belle, Susanne Sundfor, and Michael Bublé.
I have a Corgi and a very fat cat.
I have blonde hair.
I've been riding horses since I was 5.
I really wish I could draw, but I can't.
My favorite color is Cerulean, I love piano and violin music, caramel ice cream, and hiking.
To Catch and Fall (Novel)
In a world where zombies now cover the earth, a girl named Ember has remained with a group of survivors that have now become her family. With little hope that Ember's real family is still alive, she sets out on a journey with her dog and a boy she barely knows to find answers to the questions that have haunted her for so long.

There You'll Be (Short story)
This is a short story I'll be writing after I finish TCaF. It's about a girl named Cara and her summer before leaving for college. She lives in Carlsbad, California and spends much of her time reading and working as a lifeguard. She soon meets Adam at a bakery while eating cheesecake, and they spend the summer together before Adam has to leave for boot camp at Camp Pendleton. It's the story of how they become close friends and maybe even something more.
Genres: Romance/Coming of age
Status: In Development
