Welcome!

I'm Miranda and in my free time I tend to pour my heart out into a word document or an old journal. The poems I write are typically written as spoken word, but every once in a while I find myself writing in more traditional styles of poetry. Everything I write is based off of strong opinions and personal experiences. I do not intend to offend anyone with what I have written, however I can't please everyone. If you have an issue with any of my poems feel free to contact me. Please note that constructive criticism is greatly appreciated, and preferred over ignorant hate. Thank you for taking the time to read any or all of my writing. Remember to read and review! Enjoy. x

We Were Romantics reviews
In contrast to my usual poetry, this poem rhymes (awfully), leans toward the short side (sort of) and isn't spoken word! However, the content remains depressing despite the hopeful and seemingly pleasant lines at the beginning of the poem. Read and review! Enjoy. x

Tuesday Afternoon
I wrote this piece about a group of poets and our poetry class that took place on (no surprise) Tuesday afternoons. Through the class I was able to learn and grow as not only a poet but as a person. I owe this transformation to the wonderful people who sat next to me for four months in an old classroom. Warning: A lot of cursing, and mentions of religion. Read and review! Enjoy. x
