I heard once that to be a great writer, you must write the truth. I think that is when I decided that I wanted to write. As long as I could write something that mattered, that could make someone feel, to write something true, I would do anything to be able to write because it's what I love.

My real name -- it isn't Evangeline Vaughn, but doesn't it sound like the name of some great author? I think so. My name is not Evangeline Vaughn, though I do hope my writing and me as an author will one day become Evangeline Vaughn, because a name like that needs to be lived up to.
