Right now, I am enjoying the delightful prose of the authors that grace us with their gift as they spin and weave their tales here, at fanfiction.net, and on AO3 (I am a member to all 3). I actually visited FictionPress at the suggestion of a talented author friend of mine. I have spent the last 7 months immersed in fan fiction focusing primarily around Dragon Age, and new material is lacking over there right now. I figure it will pick back up when the new game comes out sometime at the end of this year beginning of next.

Prior to discovering fan fiction, I had not written anything creative for...a long time. My discovery and newly found enjoyment of fan fiction coupled with the encouragement of amazing friends inspired me to take up the pen once again so-to-speak. I may make the transition to posting some of my original work on here in time. Right now, I have a lot that keeps me busy.

As writers of any sort of prose, we have our own processes and muses that spark our imagination. I make no promises other than I will keep a thoroughly open mind as I read the creations shared by the delightful and talented writers, and I will offer my perspective on those tales constructively without negativity.

I am a bookworm, and even though I am computer geek, I have not made the switch to e-readers. As such, I have run out of bookshelf space and my husband laughs at me as he watches me survey our home for where another bookcase will appropriately fit. Although, I enjoy many different types of fiction and the authors that create it, some of my favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Jeffery Deaver, Patricia Cornwell, J. K Rowling, and Anne Rice (before she stopped writing of vampires and witches).

Right now, I am working on multiple projects. The story I will be posting here to start with is a departure from my normal style of writing. I say this because it will be written in first person from multiple viewpoints. I tend to avoid it. So, I issued myself a challenge. Let's see how it goes.

Just keep in mind that we are all here to read, relax, and enjoy. Negativity sucks the fun out of anything so keep it where it belongs...far away from here. :)
