Hello, reader! Thanks for visiting my profile. Let me tell you a few things about myself.

I am a committed Christian, a homeschool graduate, a college student, a horse trainer, and a fantasy/science fiction fan. I love to write, and I have written a few original stories. I just thought I would give this site a try and see what happens. Any good results are just lagniappe, as they say where I come from.

Favorite Movies: the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, The Chronicles of Narnia series, The Avengers, Thor, Skyfall, all the X-men movies, Amazing Grace, Warhorse, The Fantastic Four, The Phantom of the Opera

Favorite TV shows: Doctor Who, The Legend of the Seeker, Merlin, Star Trek, Sherlock

Favorite Books: The Silmarillion, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, Jane Eyre, the Narnia series, Sherlock Holmes

Favorite Music: Florence and the Machine; Adele; Loreena McKennitt; Adrien von Ziegler; anything traditional Celtic, especially the dance music: favorite artists are Altan, Danu, Smithfield Fair, and Silly Wizard

Being a 'grown-up' is over-rated if it means you must stop pretending, having imaginative games and adventures while dressed up in outlandish clothing, owning stuffed animals, or playing with toys. If that defines a grown-up, then friends I must inform you that this young woman isn't one! The only problem is that my friends/acquaintances think they are too old for such things...

Top Ten Favorite Characters from Books, Movies, and TV:

1) Avengers - Loki

2) LotR/The Hobbit - Galadriel

3) Fantastic 4 - Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic

4) X-men - Charles Xavier/Professor X.

5) Narnia - Aslan

6) Dr. Who - the 11th doctor

7) Phantom of the Opera - the Phantom

8) Star Trek - Spock

9) The Silmarillion - Finrod Felagund

10) Star Trek - Jean Luc Picard

A Heart More than Stone by inkfngrz reviews
Who ever thought that statues were weird or creepy? I saw a statue in a garden and this story was inspired that statue. (Note: First attempt at romance, tell me what you think.) Rated T for violence.

Trouble Merchants by Tavoriel
Jaisey's town is in trouble. Fray is a forest elf who is not-quite-sane (but only momentarily), and he is good friends with Beisid the friendly witch, who is quite sane. Zornigan is crafty enough to try to stay out of other peoples' issues. Dagral is FULL of issues. Welcome to their world, and please enjoy your stay. They don't bite (except for Fray - he definitely bites).

My Task reviews
As the day approached, I had to listen to their congratulations with ever-increasing frequency. After all, I had been preparing for this for a long time. It was what I had always said I wanted to do, and with great diligence and care I had done what was necessary at each step along the way.
