Author has written 8 stories for Young Adult, Life, Love, Fantasy, Romance, Supernatural, and General.

Hello! Call me Oku, or Noin, whichever you prefer! That's me in the avatar picture.

I'm newly embracing the world of writing following a long time love of literature from across the world. I am a 23 year old student, set to study Japanese at a British university in the autumn.

My major work: I'm currently working on a mystery drama novel (NaNoWriMo '12 winner) called 'Sweet Shaved Ice'. The story follows Kate, a young woman who is searching for her missing brother, Thomas. The search takes her to Sunrise, a secluded gated community in the south of England - where she discovers remnants of his past - which blend dream and reality, revealing a shocking revelation about his fate. The story focuses on human drama in an exotic world that is filled with mystery, sexuality, tragedy and murder. Chapters will be published here on FP, please look out for them in the days leading to the summer!

My minor work: My minor work is largely different ideas I'm playing around with, or scenes and settings I picture in my mind and want to try and put down in to words. I like to experiment a lot, and combine abstract elements with human drama. I will write/publish a handful of short stories a week. The vast majority are one-shot pieces, however, a dark fantasy titled 'Returner' is a continuing story with a returning cast of characters and places.

All reviews/feedback will be returned

Critical eyes are very much welcome!

Thanks for reading! Okunoin.
