Poll: Hello dear readers. I wondered what you all thought about me writing more Stray Kingdom. I thought maybe a poll would be the quickest way to get responses. As I mentioned in one of my chapter intros, I had planned for Rex to be dead in the next story, if indeed there is a next story. But this doesn't have to be concrete and he would appear in flashbacks anyway. I also had an idea to go forward into the future and introduce a whole new cast of characters. So what should I do? Should I write more Stray Kingdom? Vote Now!

Author has written 4 stories for Sci-Fi.

I've been writing stories since I was a little kid. People told me I had a great narrative voice. But that's not why I kept it up. The secret reason why I write is that it makes me feel powerful. Within my stories, I am the one true goddess. It's funny I should say that because I'm agnostic.

My favorite books and authors include: The Stand, Watership Down, Jurassic Park, Maximum Ride, Warriors, Harry Potter, Stephen King (vintage), Anne Rice, Hunger Games, Game of Thrones.

Stray Kingdom is my first novel and I hope it's actually as good as I think it is. Since I couldn't put the entire blurb of Stray Kingdom into the tiny space provided in the story summary, I figured I could put it here. I hope the mods don't mind. Anyway, here it is.

For the researchers in an advanced DNA lab, the birth of genetically altered puppies and kittens was a joyous occasion. But for their prototype dog Rex, it was the last straw. After years as a test subject, Rex escaped from the lab, taking the special little ones with him. Engineered to be super-intelligent, they secretly found a place for themselves in a run down city, stealing and scavenging to make ends meet. Over the years, the family has made a home and a life in the streets and back allies. Underneath the hustle and bustle of the human world, there's nothing they won't do to take care of each other. But now, the family is divided and facing a crisis like nothing they've ever seen before. One of them is plotting something that could destroy everything they've worked for and put all their lives in danger. The strays will have to summon all their strength to protect the little world they struggled to build.

I've finished posting the whole Stray Kingdom series and The Surry Family's Mule-Cart Blues. I want to thank everyone who read along with me through either or both. I know you don't have to keep coming back each week, but you do. And I appreciate it tremendously. I know I don't say it enough, so I decided to put it here and leave it so you all can see how grateful I am forever. Thank you all so much.
