Author has written 2 stories for Young Adult, and Thriller.

I don't know about you guys, but I've always felt awkward writing or speaking about myself, but it's probably a little uncomfortable for most, am I right?! Anyway, here goes.

I'm a 36 year old single mother of three very rambunctious boys aged 11 and under. I lived in Christchurch, one of the largest cities in New Zealand for most of my adult life, until a change in family circumstances and personal for that matter brought me to where I am now, 4 hours North in a beautiful tourist town which although is incredibly beautiful. is extremely dull, so it is a good thing that I have my loud family as distractions, not to mention a very vivid and over-active imagination.

As a child, I used to write and into early adult-hood but somewhere along the way, I lost my way if you like and blamed the following 15 years of no writing whatsoever as "writers' block" but I believe now that I have actually picked up a pen again, that fear was a large part of it. Fear of writing some of my innermost thoughts, ideas and even fantasies on paper (or computer screen these days) and hIaving them judged by others.

Actually, although I haven't written anything in story form I have taken part from time to time in forum roleplay stories and long running mmo storylines with others, so I suppose I didn't quit completely.

I'm a huge horror fan and a gamer from way back. I love everything by Stephen King, I'm a huge Silent Hill fan and I've played countless rpg horror games. On the flipside of that, I'm a sucker for romances and in particular the classics. Can't beat Pride and Prejudice or Sense and Sensibilty right? Over the past few years, I've become a huge fan of the Twilight series, admittedly watching the movies before I'd even heard of the books, but I'm a solid fan now, and unashamedly so! I'd love to write a Bella/Jasper spinoff but it's been done so many times, who knows?

I'm new to the Fictionpress (and Fanfiction) community in the sense that I have not contributed anything as of yet of my own, but I have certainly lurked here a long time and come back as a visitor over the years, enjoying the works of others. It is a large part this community and the work here that have inspired me to start writing again, and for that I give thanks to ALL of you. I really look forward to being an active part of this place.

(Currently working on a Sci-Fi novel and a Silent Hill forum RPG)

Look forward to sharing :)

Story Status Updates

Ordinary World: Now has a soundtrack! Well, it always did. It's what I listen to while I'm writing. The chapters are generally inspired by what I'm listening to at the time and/or what fits the chapter content. Sometimes the songs may seem to have no relevance at all either lyrically or otherwise BUT they're what is in my head when I am creating, and I'm happy to share the playlist with you. I will update it as I update the story, so be sure to save it :)

OW also has art! Riverstardust sent me her rendition of Lucy and I love her, it's so cute, and it made my month :D I'm going to upload it and use it as cover art for this story (lost the damn photobucket url again ..)

And of course the story itself I will still be updating with one chapter a week at this point. I'd really love to post more often but I feel like this is what I can manage reliably for you all that are following it and if I commit to more than that then I might start to struggle with posting updates regularly.

Big thank you to those who are following this little story of mine and especially those who take the time to REVIEW. Reviews are like candy to us writers. So sweet, so satisfying but we always want more! They make us happy and inspire us to keep going. Purplecookie1405, riverstardust and Kcripep who have read and reviewed every chapter so far, please stick around. I'm rather attached to you guys already

Sell Your Body, Sell Your Soul: You could consider that this one is on hiatus or pretty close to it. I will update it when and if I am feeling inspired, at least for the time being while I'm focusing on Ordinary World. The background on this story is that the character and the story itself are part of a now seven year old Silent Hill Forum roleplaying game and I became so attached to it that once it was all over I always wanted to go back and rewrite the story in it's entirety including writing in an actual ending that gave my character closure.

BUT things changed. I started playing another RPG with the several of the same people I played the first game with and my new character and this old one, Nina got all tangled up in a Ghost from Christmas Past kind of way. Don't ask me to explain, but know this.. This story is far from being permanently shelved. Once this latest RPG is over I will have a lot more storyline and content to merge with this story. It wasn't planned, the story just evolved all on it's own and this beautiful thing started to emerge. Don't you love it when that happens :) Actually not ALL of it evolved on it's own. I have to give credit where it's due, and I have to thank spearofhope for continually inspiring me to push my characters and by extension my own writing further and further. Not forgetting the other players of course, they know who they are But anyway, I completely digressed and like I said this will be finished at a later date, with a certainty.

Mist of Heaven by H. Meadows reviews
[UNDERGOING MAJOR EDITING] Screams pierced the air like shrapnel. Chloe turned her eyes to the sky to realize it wasn't painted with coming sunlight – it was gashed open by wild flames that licked the open wound like snake tongues. It was both beautiful and terrible. Post-war/Pirates CC encouraged. M for violence/language and rape references.

Strings of starlight by riverstardust reviews
Letters and alphabets, words and sentences, that sometimes rhyme and are sometimes jumbled. Sewn and strung to form what may be a song, or a mere tale in few words gone. It may make sense or it may confuse, that depends on you and how you make it of use.

Gather around for a tale, to you I shall tell. Like most, it begins with "Once upon a time" and ends with "Happily ever after". It is a tale of love hindered by fate and distance... ((Nina Melrose wakes up on the island of Galavez. She now fights to get out alive in a place full of monsters, confusion and memories long ago buried)) *** Sporadic updates only while I focus on OW.
