A little bit about myself...

I've definitely always been a writer. I was always one of the strongest readers and writers in my class when I was younger. When I was in junior high, I started to write lyrics and poems, which I need to start doing again since I've been focusing on full length novels lately.

I participated in NaNoWriMo in November 2012, and Camp NaNoWriMo in April 2013. My November novel was realistic fiction, and my April novel was fantasy.

I'm a super avid reader, and I absolutely love the Harry Potter series and the Hunger Games trilogy to death. Almost all the poems I write are based around love, and almost all the stories I write are science fiction/fantasy, but I've been getting into realistic fiction here and there.

With that said, I've written fan fiction about Harry Potter, but I'm planning to write fan fiction about other books I've read soon. Here's a link to my profile over there if you want to check it out. http://www.fanfiction.net/alexaeversence

I keep my iPod on me at all times, because I'm always jotting down ideas for stories, poems, and whatnot on the notes feature. I currently have 204 notes. My friends think I have a problem.

I love to swim, and I'm on my school's tennis team. I also like to play volleyball and badminton with my brother and/or friends for fun.

I LOVE music. I listen to all types of music. I'm also in both Band and Choir in my high school. I play French Horn and Flugel Horn (only for marching) in Band, I play guitar in Jazz Band, and I sing Soprano in Choir. I can also play trumpet because its nearly the same as a flugel horn.

Also, if you have some constructive criticism for me on my writing. Go for it. I take it in stride.

I respond to all reviews, and I usually view the profiles and check out the stories of the people who review my stories.

This is a short story I wrote for a class. I had no idea what to for a writing project, so this happened. Here's a little poem that I wrote the summer before eighth grade, about the guy I liked back then. It's about how people change, and how sometimes no matter how hard you try, you can't win. I think it turned out really good. Enjoy!
