Author has written 6 stories for Horror, General, Sci-Fi, Young Adult, and Historical.

Hello to all readers!

I've been coming up with story ideas ever since I was little, and have been writing them since I was a teenager. I'm a lifelong lover of not only books, but also of TV shows, movies, music, and many other forms of story telling. As someone who grew up with a very difficult family life and was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of ten, stories of all kinds have been my main way of learning how to understand the world around me and have been a great source of comfort to me during all those tough times I went through. I truly believe that stories have the power to change lives and bring good into the world, and that writing gives us the power to express ourselves in a way which we can't always do when we're just talking to someone. Talking often involves telling people what they want to hear, while writing expresses what's really going on within our minds and our hearts.

Although I write a lot, I'll admit I'm no professional. I appreciate any commentary you may have on my work, especially if it can help me improve a story, so don't hesitate to leave me reviews or PMs.

I also write for Fanfiction.net under the same username.

A few facts about myself:

Gender: Female

Year Of Birth: 1994

Ethnicity: Hispanic (Guatemalan American)

Religion: Catholic

Political Views: Moderate

Reading/ Writing Interests: I'll read almost anything, whether classics or bestsellers, since I think everyone needs exposure to a variety of works and not just so-called "real" literature. I mainly read literary fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, and some of the classics in addition to YA if I feel like it. As for writing, I tend to enjoy writing realistic fiction, historical fiction, sci-fi/dystopian fiction, and fantasy. I don't finish everything I write, but I may reuse some earlier ideas in later works.

Books I love : Jane Eyre, 1984, Pride and Prejudice, The Goldfinch, The Secret History, Middlesex, The Night Circus, The Left Hand of Darkness, The Lathe of Heaven, A Song of Ice and Fire series, The Handmaid's Tale, the Rabbit Angstrom series, The Shining, Looking For Alaska, Fangirl, and many more

TV Shows: Doctor Who, Orphan Black, Game of Thrones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Orange Is the New Black, South Park, Daria, Futurama, and several others I either won't admit to watching or just can't list at the moment

Movies: Many Disney/Pixar movies, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Boyhood, Clueless, Mean Girls, Taxi Driver, Deadpool, X-Men series, Guardians of the Galaxy series, and many more

Random Fun Facts:

- I served as the service officer for my college's Student Leadership Council.

-I recently graduated from community college with an associate's in general studies.

-I've already had some of my work published for my college's literary journal, the Prairie Light Review. I also served as part of its editorial team for two years, becoming a marketing editor during my second semester of participation.

-I've currently subscribed to several TV/movie streaming services, but I still watch a lot of stuff via DVD and bluray.

-I love old music of (almost) any kind. My favorite time periods for modern popular music are the 1960s and 1980s, although I do have a healthy appreciation for some of the newer music as well. I also love classical music, although I don't listen to it as much as I once did.

- I don't like declaring favorites (although I'm often tempted or forced to do so) because I often crave something different depending on my mood or what I'm looking for in a story.

- I don't label my sexual orientation. For a time, I considered myself as possibly bisexual, but given my complicated feelings on sex and romantic relationships, I've tried to steer away from labels for the time being. That being said, I do support the LGBTQ community and am always trying to educate myself on their experiences and struggles.
