An Introduction: or, rather, an unnecessary peek into the life of ETK
The name's ETK. It's really just short for Ernest "Terra" K., which is two parts my name, one part a nickname. I'm 15 years of age, am Chinese, residing in Malaysia, and in a very horrible school(Cempaka, if you really need to know) that I do not like at all. Seriously, everything there angers me to no end, from the people, to the Prefects, to the horribly biased teachers. But I've let that go somewhat. In hindsight, I can't get angry.

Writing, to me, is a release of sorts: I write about things that disgust me, or anger me, and it releases me from the bonds of my hate. I sincerely believe in the importance of heart in your writing, and many a time I've seen a writer with no heart, and all those times they've fallen. For this reason, I'm sporadic when it comes to updating, as sometimes I can get inspired to write a few hundred words in an hour, and other times I suffer from blank page syndrome.

If you read my writing, you'll notice that one of the recurring themes will be pride/ignorance/servitude. I try not to be preachy, but my writing, unconsciously, represents my values quite well.

Interests? Reading any and every book, playing FF Piano pieces and TWEWY, and a little tennis here and there.

Have fun.

STORIES CURRENTLY BEING WORKED ON: Hope?
Hope? tells the story of Jonathan, a depressed teenager who looks for ways to escape the drudgery of his life, which he feels is brought down by his half-insane mother and his school. Partly inspired by real life experiences.

Slogging through it right now: very sporadic updates as I worry about exams/IGCSEs so.

Hope? reviews
When we suffer through our darkest hours, it's inevitable that we think of ourselves. We expect sympathy when we need it, and yet most, if not all of us, decline it when their pain gives us glory. This is a tale of a fallen, him who has plummeted so many times that he is just awaiting the next. But there is always hope. Always. At least that's what he wants to believe.
