Everyone is telling me to try harder. But I'm not getting anywhere, all of my dreams are still very far from reach. Try harder? I am, trying. But why aren't I getting anywhere? Why am I stuck?

Lately, I've fallen for someone that I cannot love because of our differences and how judgmental society has become. However, I decided to ignore what others think, love is love and I will go for him.

This poem was requested by my teacher about self esteem. In life we endure many ups and downs, fallen into traps, tripping over rocks. However, you mustn't let that pull you down. Stand up straight and ignore those pests that are known as bullies. You'll be bigger and happier just keep moving on.

We never notice the small things in life, always busy with our lives. Being the quiet and lonely girl that I am, I spend my time staring at things.. The scratches on my desk, the ceiling that had small cracks, book bags, the fallen leaves and I wonder.. The leaves on the trees, stand stronger than most humans, no matter how strong the breeze is, they stay, still fearless.
