Caprigrrl on herself: Known to close friends and family as Aisyah, Caprigrrl continues to use different names of pseudonyms to hide from the authorities. She lives somewhere in the lush wilderness of Malaysia, where she spends her time being surrounded by friends or books, or sitting in front of her laptop Fred, working on either a school project or her next fanfic.
While she is not busy studying at the last minute for an exam, completing homework, editing her myriad of websites, drawing fanart, painting, writing, reading and/or eating the last Famous Amos cookie, Caprigrrl is plotting to take over the world, with her laptop, her Atlas and her sketchbook as her trusty sidekicks.
Caprigrrl on obsessing: Caprigrrl is obsessed with many things. Mainly the Gaston Leroux classic, The Phantom of the Opera (which she condsiders the best tale ever told in history of humanity, hands down), the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical adaptation, and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Her favourite authors include Terry Pratchett, Anne Rice, J.R.R. Tolkien, Lemony Snicket, C.S. Lewis, K.A. Applegate, Tanith Lee, Rudyard Kipling, Megan Whalen Turner, Diana Wynne Jones, and, of course, Gaston Leroux and J.K. Rowling.
Her favourite bands include Savage Garden, Linkin Park and Lifehouse. Favourite singers include Charlotte Church, Josh Groban, and, yes, Enya. Musical perferance ranges from hard rock to bubbly pop to classical opera, or anything that sounds good.
Caprigrrl on writing: Caps writes mainly humor and angst fanfics, with undertones of romance if she can help it. Her favourite writing styles are that of J.K. Rowling, Terry Pratchett, Alice Thompson and Anne Rice, and fellow fanfic author Cassandra Claire.
Caprigrrl on Harry Potter fanfics: Capriggrl's favourite ships are Draco/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Lucius/Narcissa and Tom Marvolo Riddle/Ginny (though the last two are very hard to find). Caprigrrl tolerates slash, but doesn't support it.
