I'm Kaori Maorimiio. I'm also a warlock, and common belief wants this to mean that I'm in league with the Devil. Please. The Devil wouldn't want to have anything to do with me. Age: nineteen. Gender: male. That is all I know about myself. That, and two other things. One: I am being held hostage by a man and his organization, and it seems the two can't quite agree as to what it is that they want from me. And two: my chances of survival are close to zero.

Long ago a curse was laid on my family, claiming a daughter of every third generation of that family. It was my daughter's turn, and I suddenly remembered the long forgotten prophecy that told of the stolen daughter who would come back and save us all. Could it be that my daughter was the chosen one? *Fairytale with a twist.*

A girl of sixteen, thrown into despair when her parents are killed in the bombing of Hiroshima. Nineteen now, refugee in Southern Italy and selling her body to provide for herself and her younger sister. And then there's Fabio, her only friend, a rich Italian heir whom she thinks is too beautiful to be true.
