"I should have started this a long time ago." - me every time I start writing

17, f, SYD, dreamer, idealist, psychopath, aspiring writer (dunno)... I enjoy oxygen very much?

I'm currently working on a memoir-fiction hybrid genre that chronicles my final year of highschool, called This Weary Heart- Memoirs of a Teenage Sadistic. It is loosely yet very accurately documents my life in a very interesting way. So hopefully no one I know will see this (if you do know me, I'm sorry for telling it as it is ;).

The thing is, I will never (after this project) write a story too close to my own life. It is because I am scared that I will come to love the characters so much more than the people they are molded from. This incurs a sort of lie that I tell myself every time I start writing, which is unhealthy. So a warning for you dear reader, that if you should begin a work of your own, never write a character that is absolutely derived from reality.

Disclaimer: PLEASE don't steal my work

This Weary Heart: Memoirs of a Teenage Sadistic
Hi my name is Veronica and this is my blunt and acute social observations of my final year at high school. There is love, anguish, hormones, and of course a little drama. In the mists of first loves (or not), gorilla warfare type cat-fights, the character building uppers and downers of life, yours truly searches for a sense of Self in an overwhelming time that is Teenage-hood.
Fiction: Young Adult - Rated: T - English - Friendship/Humor - Chapters: 1 - Words: 4,355 - Published: 8/15/2014
