I’m absolutely giddy to announce that my latest book (Azimuth) will be available on July 3! If you enjoy my fanfic and/ or the short prequel Nadya's World, I hope you’ll take a moment to check out the info and excerpts on my website (eliminate spacing: w w w . rennie st james . com). My original stories are scifi/ fantasy action set in the modern world. There's an emphasis on friendships and character development with a slow burn romance or two! I hope you'll give me a chance and check out my website for details (the ebook is currently being offered by Smashwords at a discounted price of $2.99! ;)

Thanks for humoring back to the Profile...

Hello there!

First, I have always been an avid reader (both books and fanfic) for most of my life so I know there's nothing more wonderful than falling in love with amazing characters and an incredible story! I also know that a great story stays with you forever and can change you! Now, I won't pretend that my writing will do that for you but I know that is what I aspire to anyway! :)

I did the basic writing in school and college as was required but I didn't fall in love with writing until I posted my first Arrow fanfics in December 2013. It was a terrifying and exhilarating experience and I very quickly become addicted to it! I truly can't imagine what I would do if I wasn't writing so I hope to continue regardless of the format.

I am very glad I took those first steps into the writing world as it is now a very important part of my life. It was difficult to post that first time and even now, after 30 fanfic stories, one self-published book and another on the way, I still get nervous every time I post something! Fortunately, I've found most reviewers to be sincerely kind, welcoming, and encouraging. I write just for myself but it is so much better when you can share it with others and they enjoy it too!

I do absolutely enjoy writing fanfic as I am able to work with established and beloved characters in an existing world and time frame. However, I couldn't resist the pull to create my own characters and world so I used Amazon to self-publish my first book (Nadya's World)! It is the next book (Azimuth) that I think really gets the story going though. It continues from Nadya's World but you don't have to read it to follow along. The story focuses on several people and is an action adventure with a fantasy/ superhero edge! There's also a slow burn romance (or two) if you are interested! :)

I am certainly open to comments and suggestions so always feel free to contact me via PM or reviews! Thank you so much! Happy reading!

*BTW, for those wonderful readers from the Arrow fandom, thank you for checking this out! I know I couldn't make the leap to an original work without all the wonderful support I received from you guys! I do think my writing style is pretty similar to my fanfic stories so hopefully you will enjoy the short pieces here too! As you guys know, I do love hearing from you so pls don't be shy now! :)

Introduction to Nadya's World - Short story with a different character study for each chapter - 1st person POVs. As the title suggests, this story serves as an intro for my book (details below).

Nadya’s World [available on Amazon]

Mia Rayner discovers a secret family past that reveals she is meant to be a protector of mankind and more specifically the protector of an 8 year old seer in a Romani tribe. She soon finds herself thrust into a new world of mystery and excitement as she agrees to train with an abrasive and reluctant warrior instructor. As her life starts to change, Mia realizes she must decide which world is hers and whether or not she will accept her fate as a rahki.

Azimuth [July 3, 2015 release date]

One average young woman must learn to protect a gifted Seer but fortunately she does have help from not one but two trained warriors, a genius doctor and a Romani witch...assuming they actually are on her side.
