I like to watch anime and I love Vision of Escaflowne. I think it is one of the best anime series ever. Folken has always been my favorite character. Reading all the other stories on this site is what inspired me to try my hand at writing.

I'm also a big fan of Vampire Hunter D (Bloodlust was awesome and Meier was so cool), Nightwalker, G Gundam, Gundam Wing, Hellsing (so awesome), Generator Gawl, Sailor Moon, Akira, Pet Shop of Horrors, Saiyuki, Cardcaptors, GTO, Yu-Yu Hakusho, Weiss Kruez, Yu-gi-oh, Silent Mobius, Witch Hunter Robin, Soul Hunter, Betterman, One Piece, and Cowboy Beebop. I've also recently become totally enamored with His and Her Circumstances (so cute and angsty!).

NEWS FLASH!!* My fic, "Moth to the Flame" recently won 3 awards in the 2002 FanFiction Contest: Best Romance, Best Romantic Male Character (Meier Link), and Best Dramatic Author. Wow!!!

I like to listen to industrial, goth and old school punk while I write. Some of my favorites are: Bad Religion, Black Flag/Henry Rollins, Type O Negative, Tool, The Shroud, Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode, THE CURE!!, The Smiths/Morrissey, Radiohead, NIN, Moonspell, Lacuna Coil, Skinny Puppy, Filter, The Cult, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Voltaire, Audra, Bella Morte, Paradise Lost, Nightwish, Sentenced, Soilwork, Dropkick Murphys, Rhapsody, Steel Prophet, Iron Maiden, Agollach, Stratovarius, Penance, Katatonia (so awesome - everyone should go out and buy Last Fair Deal Gone Down), Opeth (the future of heavy music -- you really should be listening to them) and the list goes on.

I like to read fantasy, mystery, and a little horror (mostly vampire stuff). Some of my favorite authors include Mercedes Lackey, Dennis McKiernan, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Friedman (Cold Fire Trilogy), Tanya Huff, Karen Koehler, Jane Austen, Wilkie Collins, Sheridan LeFanu, Stephanie Barron (Jane Austen mysteries), Laura King (Mary Russell & Sherlock Holmes series), Christopher Golden, Terry Brooks, Robert Jordan, Carole Nelson Douglas (Midnight Louie rules!), Jim Butcher (the other wizard named Harry -- Dresden to be exact) and Douglas Adams. I also have a secret passion for Regency romance novels (I know -- what tripe, but I can't help myself!)

I also LOVE ice hockey. Let's go Flyers!! Although the Caps, Leafs, Sharks, Oilers and Avs are cool too! Roman Chechmanek and Robert Esche are THE men! Goalies rule.
