UPDATE!: Changes abound. Queen Somebody (Jessica) is no longer uploaded due to mass overhaul on the story.
Okay, safe to say I've made my ways around this site long enough to give a good profile of myself. Hello, I'm DStone39, and I am a currently a 20-year-old boy that happens to enjoy a good romance story. (Why that is, I'm not sure... perhaps a slightly hopeless romantic?) Anyways, not a big deal. I've always been interested in writing and reading. Every since I was little, I would print out fake newspapers, and write the craziest of stories. I've also caught my eye on several of my loyal readers stories. If I could write half-as-good as all of you, I might warrant over 100 reviews. So, not much else to say. I'm a bit of a rarity when it comes to reviewing. (Not everyone excepts a straight guy to review to a romance fic.) It's just who I am I guess...
Queen Somebody: In Development (ETA Unknown) A new story following the life of Jessica Lucas, the daughter of the Lucas family. However, in the city of the San Juan Seison, the Benedici family rules supreme over almost all aspects of daily life. When a wrong turn of events ends up banishing Jessica away from the city, who is she supposed to turn to when the whole city is going up against her? A darker and more mature turn than the rest of the stories I've written before, so definitely check it out if you want a more enticing story than your typical high-school romances.
Lucky No. 13: Complete. My new project with John "Stingray" Ray, and a certain Miss Thirteen. It revolves around playing pool, but much of the humor from Unexpected Love goes past the central plot of a billiards tournament. I don't expect to be as renowned as Unexpected Love but it's definitely something I want to see flourish on my profile.
Unexpected Love: Complete. The story currently uploaded here, Unexpected Love just happens to be one I thought would be interesting to the internet masses. Of course, it is a little weird and described as poorly written by some. But, it's my story, and it's entertaining to a select few rather than a mass audience. The 'typical boy-meets-girl" story with my lovely characters of Dave and Kat. It's been regarded to a different kind of story, so you might not get it right away or at all. Although, if you get past halfway, you are in for a real treat.
Chaos Magic: Hiatus (not uploaded) Taken from DemonicPersona's profile: (Furry Fantasy Animated TV Series) This is a joint project between DStone39 and myself that we started this April for something called Script Frenzy or Screnzy where you write a hundred page script in the month of April. The story takes place in an alternate world called Alteria in which magic has since gone extinct after a battle hundreds of years ago destroyed all magic thanks to an entity named the Fifth Elemental. Now in present time (for the story) two of the main characters Logan Uru and Kayiel Storm accidentally trigger a spell that send everything back into the past before the war started and also changes humans into furries. Logan and Kayiel find themselves and two others the centerpoint of the new war that is brewing against the revived Fifth Element. Believe it or not that is the most unconfusing description I can think to give of this story.
Pool w/o Water: A one shot leading to Lucky No. 13. It was to merely test how to write a good pool scene, and to in a way persuade me to go through with a difficult decision.
An 'Expected' Holiday Special: A one-shot random humor fic with both the cast of Unexpected Love and Lucky No. 13. It was uploaded on Christmas Day in 2008, so it's kinda pointless to read in say Spring or July. Although, if you want to celebrate the ancestral fruit-cake, be my guest. I'm sure Ed will be happy to join you.
"Your friends are your greatest influence." - Random quote on Facebook.
"Warning: May cause nosebleeds, squealing, character attachment, and/or itchy, tired eyes. The author does not endorse an unhealthy lack of bathroom breaks and uneven nutrition/hydration while reading. Not for the following people types: Ignorant, Close-Minded Types, Homophobes, Younger Audiences, Older Audiences, and Caffeine-Sensitive Individuals." - Perceived as Insane's disclaimer on stories (I think it works with mine too, though)
'a character does what it wants. It's master, the author, may guide his character, but like most living things this creation, this character still has free will.' perry santoni (Taken from Verbal_Irony and her random quotes. It speaks the truth though...)
