I'm an aspiring writer from Ohio who made the mistake of going to art school instead of getting a real job. I have a BFA in fine art with minors in writing and art history, and a certificate in art conservation. I write mostly supernatural/urban fantasy, and I'm dabbling in mystery and crime--that's the genre I really want to learn to write at the moment. Most of my stories could probably overlap into young adult except that my characters are slightly older. The biggest influences on my writing have been Mercedes Lackey, Tanya Huff, and C.E. Murphy, so if you are a fan of any of those lovely ladies, then I hope you'll enjoy my work as well.

Volume 1 of Evie's story is now complete. I do have a plan for a second book, but I don't know when or if it will make it to Fiction Press. I'm going to take a little time to revise it some more and then try sending it off for publication.
