We're making a move to Royalroad! Because fuck y'all! https:// royalroadl.com/ user/profile/63214

Salutations all! Are you a caffeine addict? Do you prefer latte? Americano? Cappucino? Well, anything's fine for us, for we are Cawfee Connoisseur, a small group of writers with enthusiasm for all things coffee, art and literature!

Again, Cawfee Connoisseur is not one man, but a circle. We are a two-man group of amateur, aspiring writers and artists, trying to recapture the joy of literature. We're using a single account to make everything a group activity. Fun stuff.

From time to time, we also draw. We take inspiration from these artists:

Hidari (Atelier Ayesha, EschaLogy, & Shallie character designer. Our lord and saviour.)
Mel Kishida (Atelier Rorona, Totori & Meruru character designer.)
Nobita (An artist we discovered in danbooru with very good traditional works. This is what he had become when Doraemon didn't look after him.)
Kojima Saya (Doujin artist. SHE draws hot grills.)
Kojima Takeshi (Amazing traditional artist. Most of his works are KanColle fan arts.)
nonco (Another KanColle doujin artist, known for her 4-komas and retarded U-511.)
Himura Kiseki (Master of tits. Has a compilation of fanservice-y art called Monday Morning Offerings.)
bob (KanColle character designer for Sendai-class, Myoukou-class, & Shouhou.)
Kei Suwabe (Very versatile artist we also found in danbooru.)
Hirohiko Araki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mangaka. Chew.)
Takeda Hiromitsu (He drew Ima-Ria. Don't read it. Actually, just don't read anything he drew.)
Shigenori Soejima (That Persona guy. Very nice and delicate character designs.)
Kizuki Aruchu (SHE drew the only interpretation of Monster Hunter that we willingly accept. Don't look it up if you're underage~)
ntny( Character designer for the Surge Concerto game series which are Ciel Nosurge & Ar Nosurge. Also active in deviantArt. HE NOTICED US KYAA~)

We mainly write in the Manga section, so obviously, we're weabs with shit taste in anime. The following are shows we sat down and enjoyed, in no particular order:

Cowboy Bebop (Bang... Episodic genreless 90s anime about a bunch of broke bounty hunters and the nonsense they deal with. Excellent soundtrack and voice acting with some of the best traditional animation put to screen.)
KonoSuba (Hilarious otherworld fantasy comedy about a loser and his harem party of useless circus freaks. Genuinely great humour all around.)
Hataraku Maou-sama! (Another otherworld fantasy comedy, this time, it's in our world. Great chemistry with a solid cast. ASHIYA BEST GIRL.)
Rakudai Kishi No Cavalry (Guilty pleasure of sorts, cliche'd battle school anime, but with great execution and themes that make it stand out from the norm.)
Shirobako (An anime about making anime. It's so real, it hits home and it hits home hard. Ren's favourite scene was when Miyamori cried watching Zuka's dubbing because her voice was so bad.)
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun (A parody of shojo manga, with some of the funniest jokes. MIKOSHIBA BEST GIRL.)
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (CHEW. A rollicking good ride of shonen action, fun, and POSING. It's not gay, it's FABULOUS. And it's still going.)
Baccano! (Nutty schizophrenic show about immortality, mafias and trains. With fun cast and lots of violence, it was a wild ride.)
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (Taught us the joy of black comedy. The manga ending has left us in despair. Itoshiki Nozomu was in despair before it was cool.)
Gurren Lagann (Manly robot action anime with manly things happening and manly characters. Did I say it was manly? Because it's manly.)
A Certain Magical Index (NANANANANANA TOUMAN! It's about a guy who punches things. No, not One Punch Man!)

Our usual operation would be to pester each other to write chapters and then exchange said chapters for beta-reading. We try to make it a habit to read stuff and review it as a team. Yup, two reviews, all for the price of one.

And to introduce the two members...

Someone who got nothing to do and one day decided to write after a lot of high school stories. Eventually, transformed into LN style of writing thanks to the influence of anime and manga. Like his/her coffee sweet. 5 cubes of it. Also likes overpowered shounen fights. Secretly a sucker for drama. Also like electronic music. Is shy in real life. Sleeps a lot like Tanaka from Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge.

Stories:

REC Company

REC Company is a story inspired from games like Recettear, Rune Factory and Atelier series. A fantasy slice of life with a dash of action. I wrote this wanting to test myself if I can do fantasy and action. I hope you will enjoy as much as I had fun conceptualizing it and writing it.

Worn out college student who has retreated into a sort of shell. Likes to have fun, a hedonist at heart. Writing is literally whatever, he barely reads. He won't read the instructions to his medicine. Takes his coffee black, says he likes the roasty feeling. Secretly super into shojo manga despite his manish bravado. Is the same asshole offline or online.

Further Than The Sky

Further Than The Sky happened because I watched this one show where mooks were getting destroyed by the dozens in some battle harem show, and I thought to myself: "DAMN! How would it feel to be that mook?" Thus we get this story about quirky mooks surviving war.

Huh? I wrote Further Than The Sky before? What are you talking about? Thurston? Who? I don't know what you're talking about.
