Author has written 13 stories for Love, Song, Life, Fantasy, Romance, and Young Adult. Well, where shall I begin? I started writing a long time ago. My first real stories (meaning that they were actually slightly good) were fanfics for the T.V. series Digimon. I have a website devoted to stories of that nature, but I haven't updated it in forever because I haven't had the time. If you want to see it, the URL is http:// . Please ignore the site's lame name. I made it a long time ago and I thought that was a pretty cool name at the time. I was going to put my Digimon fanfics on here as well, but then I discovered that authors are not allowed to upload fanfics. Bummer. Ah, well. You can still read them on my website, if you wish. Be forewarned, however, some of them may sound kind of silly, as my writing skills were still developing as I was authoring them. Just recently, I started writing poetry. As romantic as it would be to say that it started on the first day I realized I really, really liked a girl, I can't say that's true. She was probably one of the driving forces behind it, but it didn't start until some time after I started having feelings for her. Ironically, I've always disliked writing poetry for school, but now I sometimes find myself wanting to write it. Not all of my poems are about love, either. Most are, but recent events concerning a friend of mine have inspired one poem, and will probably inspire others. This friend, by the way, is actually the real-life person upon whom Craig from Pokey831's stories was originally based, so when referring to him, that's the name I'm going to use. I've also written a song. Not the music, though, just the words; the only instruments I can play are simple percussion. My current writing project is slightly more ambitious than my Digimon fanfics. I'm writing walkthroughs for several of my favorite computer games, but I'm authoring them in the style of novels that can be read and fully enjoyed by someone even if they haven't ever played the game and never do. Like I said, just slightly more ambitious. ;) I tried starting King's Quest I by Sierra, but didn't get too far. I got a good beginning written, but when I realized the amount of dialogue that I would have to transcribe from the game to Word and the little amount of time that I had available to me at that point, I kind of put the halt on that one. I will finish it, though. Right now, I'm working on one for Myst, by Cyan Worlds. Awesome game! There's little dialogue, and what there is can be viewed outside of the game through Quicktime, which makes things a whole lot easier for me. The only downside is that Myst has a photorealistic environment, which means I have a lot of detail to cover. What I have now doesn't even do the game justice, I'm afraid, at least in my opinion. I plan on putting those walkthrough-novels on here as well, but they'll be rough drafts, as it will probably be a while before the whole thing comes to completion. Anyway, that's enough of my rambling. Enjoy! Also, please review! I can't get better if I don't get any feedback! Thanks, keep it real, and remember: cheese is good. Peace out. ~Enchantermon, aka J-Duff |
