Author has written 2 stories for Humor, and General.

So I pull myself away from the uninspired monotonies of the fan fiction websites to actually be creative, not that I actually got anywhere with, nor did I post many stories, nor did I complete any. So basically, what I'm trying to say is that after I got out of my bland and unoriginal state of thinking, I hate fan fiction. That was a lovely couple of sentences to start off on, wasn't it?

What I've learnt from reading a lot of people's profiles in my life, is that ones that are extremely long are there to look impressive; the ones that are actually read are the ones that are a reasonable length, so I'll make this profile readable.

I hope to one day become a published author and that's the reason why I'm here on fictionpress, to improve my writing skill and take on board the compliments and criticisms which - I hope - people will throw at me. I'm finally was free of that ridiculous '3 day wait' barrier which I was heartily welcomed with when I joined, hoping to put up something I had already prepared a few days eariler and felt my intent to hit my computer bubbling. But now that's behind me I can start putting up new stories, most of my ideas seem to go under the fantasy/science ficion genre and when I finally put pen-to-paper that is probably what will be produced. I have one big, main idea formulating in my mind for a story, but the optimistic part of me is telling me to wait and see if I can finally publish that series of ideas one day in the distant future. My influences stem from many authors, some of them being Michelle Paver, Philip Pullman, J.K Rowling, Douglas Adams and Joseph Heller; sometimes this may show in my style of writing or the theme but I'm confident that I'm developing my own writing style.

I hope you enjoy reading my submissions and I urge you to leave a comment behind, be good or bad, so I can see what I've done right or wrong in my writing.
