Author has written 6 stories for Kids, and Historical.

About the author:

Gender: Female

Race: Black (Though I have a mixed heritage)

I'm a fan of both traditional, and stop motion.

I also enjoy movies, TV shows and music from the 90s and early 2000s. I like oldies too, such as 70s and 80s in terms of music, as well as certain movies and TV shows.

Another thing I enjoy is writing, most of my stories are written out longhand(pen and notebook paper) then typed on Microsoft Word.

Favorite writers are: Maya Angelou, Dwayne McDuffie, Earl Kress and Shondra Rhimes.

I've learned that movies, TV shows and music can be great source material for getting story ideas. To keep things realistic in my work, I do research on whatever I'm writing about. Sometimes I get ideas or base certain parts of a story on real life such as trips I've taken during the summer or my home state: California. Been writing for close to 14 years, since then my style has changed but I continue to look for ways to improve. Joined this site back in 2005.

TV Shows: The Cosby Show, Kenan & Kel, Sister, Sister, The Proud Family, Home Improvement, Everybody hates Chris, Hey Arnold! The Bernie Mac Show and several others.

Movies: Homeward Bound 2: Lost in San Francisco, Toy Story 2, Dinosaur, First Snow of Winter(short film) and others.

Books, Magazines & Comics: Ribsy by Beverly Cleary, Script mag, Writers Digest, Animal guide books & encyclopedias, Looney Tunes, Disney/Pixar, Calvin & Hobbes and Peanuts.

Music: Smooth jazz, Oldies, i.e 70s, 80s, 90s, TV show theme songs, Movie Soundtracks, songs & music from other countries and others... I have a diverse taste in music.

I'm a self-taught writer and artist.

Read the notes:

Requests- Varies...

Why?- There's certain genres I'm not a fan of and don't write for. However, I am open for story/plot suggestions on my stories.

Story suggestions & Co-writing- Varies...

Why?- Like every writer out there I get mental blocks from time to time, so I'm open for story related suggestions and co-writing, just as long as it's related to a genre and such I write in addition to it being something that can be kept in the general audience group.

Beta reading requests-Yes

Why?- I don't mind helping new or old school writers with their skills but there's certain fandoms I do and don't beta read for. Check my beta reader profile for details. I specialize in Comedy/Humor and parodies.

I hope to publish my original work or pitch it to a studio...one day.

Thanks for dropping by.
